The first few months of the new school-year brought some of the most promising students from the most prestigious families all around Eos. Wealth was what they all had in common, rank was what few had in common, and the rest was pooled with little diversity in regards to their unique importance to the world. In other words, everyone here was a special petal and Ardyn was meant to remember that when dealing with each and every student. However, there were some students that wormed their way into his heart - others found themselves on his list of fantasized tragedies. It wasn't easy acclimating among the privileged, a thorn he carried on his side since childhood. His own brother was revered while he was more than less the red headed stepchild. However, what his brother couldn't take from him was what Ardyn worked so hard to obtain, his education, his role within the coveted school, and Ardyn's charm that worked so well in making diplomatic arrangements.

One such arrangement was for the Prince of Lucis to attend his very school. Of course, Noctis wasn't the first prince nor would he be the last that Ardyn would personally invite into the school, but the boy was thus far his very favorite prince.

He couldn't quite put his finger on it, save for the superficial attraction that he likely shared with all who set eyes on the fair boy. Noctis was a good looking lad, Regis had given the boy his very best genes indeed.

In any case, Ardyn enjoyed watching Noctis acclimate into the new year and mingle with some of the new and old friends that would dare approach one of their A-plus Celebrities. Even he found himself, at times, star-struck with the youth. Although, he endeavored to do his best to hide such reactions!

Ardyn was both on the chair of the school and a teacher, which he preferred more than being a chairman. He enjoyed the history of Eos and educating the future leaders of this world on the past, though he was not in high hopes that the students would deviate from habitual personality quirks in which humans tended to keep. Doomed to repeat the same mistakes as the father before them, and so on and so forth. Alas, he still enjoyed bringing up old lessons.

He was two minutes away from ending his presentation on the Iron Paradox Age and while he sauntered around the room, circling through the tables, before and behind students, his eyes would wander from each of the youth in his class but would linger so on Noctis. The fair raven-haired boy. Prince of Lucis.
